Ilse Jordan Kunzel

Graduated from Marymount School Bogotá in 1994

She studied and graduated from Marymount School in 1994. Her graduating class won the Song Contest several times since they were very active and competitive. She started at age 8 in MISI Musical Theater Company and spent more than 30 years as a performer. She played parts in West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Annie, among other original MISI Productions. Ilse traveled with the company around the world and had the honor of being part of the show that performed in New York at the Lincoln Center in 2012. She studied Psychology at Universidad de los Andes and Expressive Arts Therapy in California, which she integrates into her private practice as a Psychotherapist. She feels very excited to be here again in such a traditional and special event for the Marymount community.

Maricarmen Roca

Artist trained in Musical Theater

Maricarmen has been a Cambridge and IELTS examiner for the British Council since 2012. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Philology and Languages from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, specializing in education with an emphasis on educational assessment. Maricarmen also holds a master’s degree in education from Universidad Santo Tomás in Colombia. Previously, she worked as an English teacher, serving as the academic coordinator and English department head at Saint George’s School.

Gerardo Rivillas

Gerardo is a theater actor who graduated from Academia Charlot and the theater company DECA in Colombia. He also studied musical theater at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. Gerardo was part of the musical casts of 7 Perros and Quimeras. He just finished the theater season of the play Los Innombrables in La Sala, Casa E, and Seki Sano Theater. Gerardo graduated as a professional photographer from ZONA 5 in 2014. One of his masterpieces, Desnudos, was exhibited in Chia, Cundinamarca. He lived in London for five years.

Darío Silva

Dario is an executive producer and director with more than 20 years of experience in theatre, television, and live shows. He has created and produced more than 2,000 hours of entertainment and cultural content. As the general producer for Teatro Nacional, Darío was in charge of more than 50 theater performances and musical shows. He also produced musicals such as Maria Barilla, Mentiras, De Cantina, and has been a local producer for international kids shows such as Peppa Pig, Sesame Street, Backyardigans, and Lazy Town. Dario combines executive and creative production in an innovative way, giving life to outstanding theater, TV, new media, and live shows.

Juan Pablo Segura

He is a professional actor and teacher of performing arts at Academia Superior de Artes de Bogotá in Universidad Distrital. He has also been a theater examiner and teacher for the IB diploma program and drama moderator in the MYP program since 2010. He has worked as a bilingual drama teacher for 13 years in important educational institutions, where he finally specialized in large format musicals as director and producer. Juan Pablo is currently the producer of his own theater company, EL EXPERIMENTO Teatro, where he continues working in different productions that have been played in different important theaters in Bogotá. Juan Pablo is also a business coach and an educational project coordinator.
